Okinawa used to be an independent nation called the Kingdom of the Ryukyus. Our regular exhibit features the history of Okinawa from the Dynasty, with a collection of the family papers, photos, art objects and also the national treasures, the documents of Sho Family. The special exhibitions are renewed every one to two months. Partially captioned in English.

Hours, admission fees

■Hours 10 am - 7 pm
 Closed on Thursdays and between December 28 and January 4.
 There may also be emergency closures.

※ Prices whithin brackets are the fee per preson for groups of 20 or more.
